NEWS & EVENTS

 Environment Programme :

MBR actively working with  Ministry of Environment and Forest  , Government  of India , New Delhi. With allied government and private bodies since 2003 to till date. Under the banner of national Environmental Awareness P Campaign (NEAC) .n these programs we are cover university, collage and Scholl and community and adopt plantation program for the same.

MBR also working with Law carbon practice Life Style, and plantation Drive in Odisha during the Commonwealth Game-2010,New Delhi  among the Schools and Collages with the help of students and local people, MBR is the Lead Environmental partner for this program in Odisha. More than 50K (fifty thousand) seedling /trees were planted during the year -2010 and some of the School/ Teacher get ”Prakruti Mitra Award” for this success of plantation program and the greening in school campus , which bring them such achievement.MBR is well acknowledge for the same by local authority. MBR partnerships with GEF, UNDP, SGP, CEE India , MoEF, Ministry of Environment and Forest , Govt of India , New Delhi,  and District environment Society, Forest Department,  Government of Odisha ,  BSNL  LEPRA Society, UDYAM and Others.

Forest contribute million of economic resources of forest dependent community and ecological substance, nature balance the atmosphere and OXYGEN for the living culture and BIOLOGICAL creation of Nature. So it important to understand how forest fire , after winter season loss the livelihood and life of Million .Never play with nature , please stop Forest fire . FOREST IS your economy and its your life support system, Forest .Save forest and save life and livelihood. "MAYURBHANJ BIOLOGICAL RESEARCH (MBR) is actively working from 1999 and at present seeking your affiliation and partnership for the purpose and need to address more issue and challenges.

Environmental Advocacy :

Similipal Biosphere Reserve is in danger with forest fire on recent March 2021, if the local, state ,national, international administrative and operational management program not taken care the wild fires will destroy million of valuable resources both flora and fauna. Hope all parties would come forward to save this Biosphere Reserve as well as international Heritage site of UNESCO. SAVE SIMILIPAL, SAVE BIODIVERSITY.
